Yosemitech Y508-A self-cleaning dissolved oxygen sensor incorporates an integrated mechanical auto-cleaning brush system. Factory-configured with a default 30-minute cleaning cycle, the system automatically and repeatedly sweeps the optical sensing window at the sensor’s front end. This action effectively removes common fouling agents—including sedimented sludge, suspended algae, residual feed particles, microbial biofilms, and surface-active organic films—thereby mitigating optical path obstruction and ensuring measurement stability and accuracy over time. From practical operation results, after approximately three months of continuous use in aquaculture water, although the sensor body was covered with sediment, the critical measurement window remained clean and transparent. The compact fluorescent cap is specifically optimized for harsh water conditions, offering three key advantages:

Reduced contaminant attachment area: With a smaller volume in the fluorescent sensing region, the surface area available for sludge, algae, or viscous biofilms to adhere is significantly reduced.
